SCHEDULE
As mentioned, the exact schedule is dictated by our flying friends, but we are aiming for the following program..
* Meet at the Briarfields in Titchwell on the Friday evening. Welcome drinks and briefing for the weekend.
* Following morning, up EARLY to head to the Knot roost at Snettisham for photography.
* The Day’s routine will be dictated by bird activities in the area, Stuart’s local knowledge will lead the way here but we will know ahead of schedule.
* Late afternoon setup for dusk wild Barn Owl photography. Stuart has many sites for this and we will pick the most suitable one at the time.
* Day 2 will be a similar program, depending on the success of the first day’s Knot roost photography we may try again based on a group consensus, else we will move on to additional locations.
YOUR HOSTS
Richard Costin – richardcostin.com
UK based wildlife photographer Richard Costin has gained a reputation for capturing amazing images of the natural world.
Working both near to home in the UK and abroad, his dedication to photographic craft as well as a respect for the wildlife and the environments he works are core to his professional and personal life. This understanding of the wild world, combined with detailed digital imaging knowledge gained from years in the post production VFX industry has positioned him perfectly in the new digital photography era, allowing him to focus on getting the images rather than wrestling with technology and image processing.
Putting photographic technique, patience and field-craft ahead of gear lust and forum posturing, his real, down to earth attitude towards his craft strips away the fluff and allows him, and those he regularly teaches on his workshops to come away with great results with the minimum of fuss. As well as local one day workshops and the new upcoming weekend bird photography trips, Richard also hosts Safari trips with small groups yearly putting his guests in the right place at the right time whilst teaching them how to make the most of any equipment and situations that nature presents you with.
