Welcome to the latest entry from Africa Live!
Hey all, back with another update from the Mara North conservancy. Another long and fruitful day here with some fun sightings.
We’ve had a few glimpses of break in the cloud today but the challenging lighting continues so we are working very hard to try different angles and approaches as we work with out sightings, pushing our iso settings to the limit early and late in the day.
The Elephants and Crowned Cranes remain on top form and we followed a very different Lion hunt last thing in the evening; so with out further adieu, let’s get going.

We made our way to the nearby Hyena den and as luck would have it they were hanging out in the early morning.

The start of a very interesting hunt. The Warthog, who made his escape thanks to their natural paranoia!

Our vantage point from that of the rest of the pride gave us a great view as this lady took the lead.

Having lost the Warthog, a chance encounter with the Zebra provided another opportunity. However, an early run form the impatient Lioness meant dinner would have to wait until later.
Thanks all! See you next time.
Richard.
