Hi all! Internet enabled Richard here!
I am still blogging two days behind and here was our penultimate day with group one. And WHAT a day!
The local Acacia pride were on good form near the camp and we found them for first light with made for some nice captures…

Our drive continued with a great Elephant encounter with a play fight as well as a brief sighting of our 4 year old Leopard boy, one of Zawadi’s sons..

The cheetahs are really out in force in the Mara North conservancy and they are hunting with on and off success at the moment. We have watched at least 4 hunt attempts so far, such speed!

Then… one of Zawadi’s sons! The beefy 4 year old again in great light. My best spot of the trip so far (so that’s Daniel 400, Richard 1 ahem..), Daniel, Joseph and I worked as our usual team to make the most of the encounter, whilst the other vehicles went by the numbers and I dare say missed the best angles that we predict (and usually get right!)…

What a handsome chap, really gets the blood pumping with an encounter like that, such beauty! After a good 30-40 minute session with him we headed off to this spot for our sundowners….Mines a Tusker please!

Thanks guys, things at the excellent Bush Camp are going well, we have David and Marilyn with us now and had a great first drive, but more on that as the blog catches up with the days!!!! Don’t forget to please like our Facebook page and check out twitter to be alerted to new updates!
We also still have a few places left on our 2013 Great Migration Tour this September if you care to see all this for yourself!
Rich.
