Africa Live, the romance edition!
These two lovers were very much in the mood and us pervy lot were certainly up for a viewing. We were canny enough to leave early as usual and encounter them as they began the morning of seduction which ensures a show every 4 minutes or so, slowing down after a while to every 15 minutes. Well we aren’t machines are we gents?????
The following images are in chronological order fyi…

Love is in the air…

Ahem…..

20 seconds (literally!) later…….

Yes, certainly in the air!

What a stud!

Sleeping it off.

A job well done….

“And… I’m off..”

A real (all be it voyeuristic) privilege with the bonus of lovely early light.
I’m sure that’s what he is thinking here too?

Revisiting the Notch boy’s Hippo kill. A sight to behold despite the aroma!

A less controversial sequence of a different cat!

Although this is a “Big Cat” workshop, there is so much more to it than 100% cats. Hippos always share a joke we never understand (if you have every heard them “laugh”)

A Mara sunset

ACACIA!!!! Many of you will remember her from my 2012 blog with Tony, Cheryl and Gordon.

She has had her two cubs now and the guides and myself are super pleased to have seen them after a month or two of speculation as to whether they survived!

Well that’s all for now folks. Bed with Hyena calls one side and I believe the Lion pride calling the other. A fantastic steak dinner and very much enjoying the company of Marilyn, David and the Kicheche Bush crew this week.
Many, many thanks for reading! It really makes the difference.
Richard.
