AFRICA PHOTO SAFARI LIVE DIARY
DAY 10.5, Mara fun
Hello gang!
Now finishing up day 11 here, just about to tuck down for another early start tomorrow.
Time and duty has run away with me today (what else is new???) as the group comes first and my own work and tasks take a (rightful) back seat when they are here, so I am adding a few extras from yesterday as I have yet to download today’s images to the laptop (although they are sitting on the cards still and hyperdrive colorspace, always backup!!!).
We were in the main reserve as mentioned yesterday and the marsh area was a fruitful place to be as always…
On our way back to camp, back in the Mara North conservancy we managed a few shot glimpses of the Lions with of course the long grass proving difficult. Although you can use it to your creative advantage.
An entertaining view as one stuck vehicle is rescued by several others. I love the all in it together spirit the Mara guides have and more so in the Mara North reserve. Everyone helps everyone which is fantastic.
We weren’t the only ones amused by the goings on with the trucks, I have never seen such interest in something by the whole pride at once before!
Thanks all again for your comments and support, it all really does help immensely with motivation and overall fun with the blog So thank you.
We have our last full day with group 1 tomorrow so look forward to pictures from today and tomorrow as well as an update on what is to come!!
Richard.
